7 great Christmas movies you can watch for free

There’s nothing like getting together with the family to celebrate the holidays and watching Christmas movies (except maybe seeing them for free).

Thankfully, there are some great seasonal movies that can be streamed online without paying, so viewers don’t have to wait for TV channels to air some of their favorite holiday classics. However, they may no longer be free once December ends, so viewers should check out these seven Christmas movies while they still can.

“You’ll take your eye out, kid.” Even people who don’t celebrate Christmas are probably familiar with this iconic phrase. The classic film follows nine-year-old Ralphie Parker and his many misadventures leading up to Christmas Day in 1940, when he hopes to receive a dangerous gift.

Featuring everything from BB guns to leg lamps, Ralphie’s holiday antics are hilarious, and many viewers have fond memories of this movie airing on TV every Christmas.

Starring Hollywood icons such as Olivia Hussey, Keir Dullea, Margot Kidder and John Saxon, black christmas It follows a group of sisters who find themselves stalked and threatened by a mysterious killer.

Although it is shocking to think that the film was a critical and commercial disappointment upon release, it’s a Wonderful Life It has since become a beloved staple of Christmas media, and its ability to influence and inspire audiences has grown stronger over time. When the Griswolds host their relatives at their home for Christmas, all kinds of ridiculous chaos ensues as Clark struggles to make it the best yuletide ever. The film may not feature the traditional Griswold family road trip, but it still shows another of their adventures gone horribly wrong in a crazy blaze of glory. Despite this, this sequel still makes room for some truly heartwarming moments as the Griswolds embrace the Christmas spirit, making it just as good, if not better, than the original film.

Incredible Mischief Theater (peter pan gone wrong) tries and fails to take over a BBC production of Dickens’s classic story, as actors fight for the role of Scrooge, props and effects break, and behind-the-scenes drama spills over onto the stage. This is a thrilling holiday romance that showcases the British comedy troupe at its best as it breathes new life into an oft-told story.
