Alexa is one of the most popular smart assistants, and it’s becoming even more useful this month. Just in time for the holidays, Amazon has introduced three new features to aid your trip to the grocery store.
One of the coolest new features allows you to scan your handwritten shopping list and instantly convert it into an Amazon shopping list. After opening the Alexa app and going shopping list Menu, just press scan Button to start the process.
The other two Alexa updates are related to shopping at Amazon Fresh or Whole Foods Market. The first update lets you find and apply deals instantly using a code in the Amazon app. These deals will be located below each listing item and will be easy to find quickly.
When we tested this feature, scanning the handwritten word “soap” added it to our shopping list and dozens of different products appeared below the list item — giving us the chance to choose our favorite brand or find the best deal. found. This is a surprisingly useful feature, and should make it easier than ever for anyone looking to streamline their shopping experience and save money.
The last update lets you place Fresh or Whole Foods Market orders from an Alexa shopping list directly in the Alexa app. This is done by selecting buy your list button at the top of the screen, which will automatically load the Amazon app.
Amazon hopes these features will ease the pain of Thanksgiving shopping. The features will still be available after the holidays, so be sure to check them out before your next trip to the grocery store.
