after saying goodbye to the incredible halo franchise, developer Bungie stepped forward to break new ground in the live-service space with two Destiny titles. It’s been supporting these two games for almost a decade, but we’ve finally seen what else is in the works.
To the surprise of many, it’s actually the return of the studio’s oldest franchise, Marathon, Those original titles were created just like the original Doom games, but this new reboot is going in a very different direction. Bungie has proven they’re the masters of sci-fi shooters, so let’s dive in and cover everything we know about it Marathon.
Release date speculations

The main focus is on a character racing with a timer counting down on his back on a ship that appears to have crashed straight through the moon. We get some quick information about potential enemies and creatures before our runner is gunned down by a sniper, who appears to be robotic in nature. They pull something from the corpse while two others stand guard.

You can go out alone or in a group of three people in search of these exotic artifacts, new guns, and other types of gear that have not yet been revealed.
